Métrivis was founded in 1981 as a small company distributing hardware, screws and bolts mainly to car, motorcycle, boat and agricultural dealers. Since then, the company has continued to evolve and grow.

Initially, Métrivis turned to imports, mainly from Taiwan for fasteners, before introducing more specialized products such as electrical connectors and nylon wire fasteners from Asia. Later, the company added low-volume local products to its offering.
11 years later, in 1992, Métriplus was created.
Métriplus expanded its customer base to include air-conditioning, garage doors and bulk distributors, before moving into high-volume products following a memorable order from Bauer Saint-Jérôme. This was the beginning of our collaboration with manufacturers.
The great strength of Métriplus lies in its diversification, with no fewer than 12,000 products in stock!
In addition to Taiwan, Métriplus currently works with more than 5 other Asian countries.
Around 15-20% of parts come from Europe and the USA. As a result, Métriplus now distributes parts for several manufacturers, and over time has become an expert not only in standard products, but also in non-standard products for these customers. Métriplus has 1700 customers to its credit.
